REGISTRATION

On-line Registration and payment is preferred.
Your registration payment will be processed through a secure web-based credit card payment system (SSL encrypted data transfer).

All registrations will be handled by MeetingPlanner.gr (the Conference’s management company).

For each paper to be included in the conference proceedings at least
one author must pre-register by March 9, 2007 at a non-student rate.

In case only a student author is going to attend the conference, he/she should register for his/her paper at either the regular rate or the IEEE/MPEGIF rate depending on his/her status.

Please note:

  • Each registration may cover up to three (3) papers co-authored by the registrant.

Registration Information

  • To be eligible for the early registration fee, payment of registration must have been received by MeetingPlanner.gr, by March 9, 2007. Registration payments after that date will be charged with the late registration fee.
  • IEEE/MPEGIF members should be prepared to show their membership card at the conference registration desk.
  • Students should be prepared to show their student identification card at the Conference registration desk.
  • Registration by email or phone will not be accepted.

Your payment must be completed (your bank transfer must have been deposited in the Meeting Planner’s  bank account or your credit card payment received by MeetingPlanner.gr) by:
• March 9 , 2007 for each paper to be included in the Technical Program and to appear in the Conference Proceedings;  
March 9, 2007 for the early registration rate to apply.

 

Registration Methods

Important note: Please read carefully the methods for registering, payment and cancellation policies, before you proceed with registering!

You may submit your registration using our on-line service via the 3-DTV website, no later than Friday April 27th 2007.
After this date, only on-site registration is possible.

Registration by Fax is available for those who can not register on line. Please fill in the registration form, with your credit card or other payment information and send it by fax to: +30 2610 991 945.
Registration desk will forward the bank details upon request

Registration by Mail (mail and payment should be received by the corresponding deadline) is possible, using the registration form.

Attention
1.Each attendee must register separately.
2.Receipts will be given on site. No invoices will be sent in advance.
3.Upon receiving your complete registration application and respective payment(s), the registration desk will email you a confirmation letter, including your registration number. 
You must print the official confirmation of registration email and bring it with you to the on-site registration desk!

 

Payment of Fees

Registration will not be considered until full payment is received.

  • All payments must be made in Euro.
  • Cash payments will be accepted only on-site. Credit card payment will also be available on-site. No other type of payment will be accepted.

Cancellations

In the unfortunate event that a registration must be cancelled, a full refund (less 100 € administration fee) will be issued provided written notification is received by MeetingPlanner.gr on or before April 2nd 2007. No refunds will be issued after this date.

 

Payment Methods

 

  • Pay on-line using your credit card (VISA – MASTERCARD)

Preferred. You must be the cardholder to use this option. Then

1.    You will receive a bank notification message informing you about the amount of money that has been deducted from your credit card.
2.   You will also receive the official confirmation of registration via email from the 3DTV registration desk.

  • Pay by faxing your credit card details, using the registration form.

    The registration desk will charge your credit card with the respective amount and send you the official confirmation of registration via email.  (Fax to: +30-2610-991945.
    In case you are using someone else’s credit card we must receive his/her authorization in hard copy, so please DO NOT PROCEED with on-line payment. Fax the registration form, which must be signed by the card holder, accompanied by a copy of both sides of the credit card.
     
  • Pay by bank transfer

Please note that any transfer or service charges imposed by the bank must be paid by the participant.  
Please provide us on your registration application with a valid email address. You will receive a notification email with the bank account details.

Clearly indicate on the bank form:
1. Your full name (name given for the registration)
2. Name of the Conference : "3DTV Conference"

For quick and accurate processing of the payment, it is requested that you fax a copy of your bank transfer receipt to: +30 2610 991945. Please remember to also bring this copy to the registration desk. After proof of payment has been confirmed by our bank, you will receive a confirmation of receipt of payment. Note that any additional transfer or service charges imposed by the bank must be paid by you.

 

Additional Registration Application

Those who are already registered, but would like to get additional items (i.e. the proceedings on CD-ROM, welcome reception tickets, banquet tickets or lunch tickets), must use an additional registration form. The additional registration application can not be submitted on-line. You must fax (+30 2610 991 945) the additional registration form found at this page. Confirmation will be sent via email, after proof of payment has been received. Please remember to print and bring this confirmation letter with you to the registration desk in order to collect your tickets/proceedings.

 

Letters of Invitation

Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Conference may write to the Conference Secretariat (3DTV-CON@iti.gr)  specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Conference. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Conference.
Payment for registration fees must have been finalized, before requesting an invitation letter. Please make sure that in your request to the Conference Secretariat for an invitation letter you include:
1. Name, postal address, and a valid email address;
2. Paper number, if you are presenting a paper;
3. The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your email    
request.

The visa letters will be emailed in a printable coloured pdf format and will state only the facts:

  • Conference  title, dates, and location;
  • That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full;
  • If the requester is a committee member, speaker, or presenter.

Attendees who need visas are advised to apply for it to the respective consulate/embassy no later than 2 months prior to the Conference. For visa information, please visit the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Personal Insurance

The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to Conference participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause. Participants should therefore, make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult with your local insurance sources regarding coverage.
